Javascript provides features like client side validation, popup & tool tips, some advanced features to make your website more interactive, collapsing text, resizing font, changing fades, page timeout, Moving text, image transitions, flawless integration. As user doesn't want to keep waiting for page to update or waste the time it take to refresh, AJAX employs a particular Javascript code so that there is almost negligible delay in the user interface and that user really have good experience in visiting that web page. If the website is AJAX deployed, the user doesn't need to wait for a page to refresh or load.

AJAX allows a unique feature to perform partial page updates by allowing only those page elements to be updates that we need which provides far more better response of refresh means and if a web developer is sensible enough in designing their web pages then there is almost no detectable refresh delay of your web page.

Traditional Web applications delivered a lot of surplus information, particularly if pages were coded in old-fashioned HTML loaded with tags. In such sites the amount of structuring and presentation required may be nearly as much as that required to serve up the textual content of the page. If you are using AJAX design apt pattern then web application has to download the page layout just once and then just update the new data which reduces the bandwidth up to an extent as per user session.
